Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who volunteered to participate in this trial, aged 65-80 years; ASA classification I-III, scheduled for elective lumbar spine surgery under general anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Unscheduled or emergency surgery; cardiac insufficiency or severe lung disease (type I or II expiratory failure); severe hepatic or renal dysfunction (Child-Pugh class C, need for renal replacement therapy); comorbid psychiatric disorders, cognitive abnormalities, long-term use of antipsychotics, or drug addiction; allergies or contraindications to medications used in the study; illiteracy or inability to comprehend the scales in the study.
