Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Septic children 28 days to 18 years old. - Meeting the diagnostic criteria for sepsis. - The guardian or the patient signs the informed consent form for the collection of biological samples, cooperates with the study, and provides the required feces (2 samples). During the clinical diagnosis and treatment process, 1 ml of blood sample is collected for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Children with chronic diseases and other serious diseases that affect gut microbiota homeostasis except for sepsis, such as diabetes mellitus, immunodeficiency, autoimmune diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, etc. - Children who have been on long-term antibiotic use or have experienced diarrhea within the past three months.
