Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients hospitalized in oral and maxillofacial-head and neck tumors who underwent surgical treatment between 2004 and 2024 were retrospectively identified from the medical record system of the Hospital of Stomatology, Wuhan University. Patients whose clinical symptoms, imaging findings, and postoperative pathological results corresponded to ameloblastic carcinoma, malignant-transformed ameloblastoma or atypical ameloblastoma were included in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients hospitalized in oral and maxillofacial-head and neck tumors who underwent surgical treatment between 2004 and 2024 were retrospectively identified from the medical record system of the Hospital of Stomatology, Wuhan University. Patients exhibiting inconsistent clinical symptoms, imaging findings, or postoperative pathological results with ameloblastic carcinoma, malignant-transformed ameloblastoma, or atypical ameloblastoma, as well as those whose clinical and radiographic characteristics matched these conditions but did not undergo treatment, were excluded from the study.
