Experiment group:near work at a distance of 33 cm for 2 hours after eating
near work at a distance of 33 cm for 2 hours on an empty stomach
distant work at a distance of 5 meters for 2 hours after eating
near work at a distance of 33 cm for 2 hours after eating additional food

18 Years to 35 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. age 18–35 years old 2. spherical equivalent refraction (SER) of +1.00 to –6.00 D and anisometropia of 2.50 D or less 3. best corrected visual acuity of 0.05 logMAR or better in each eye

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. with any ocular organic illnesses (such as cataracts and glaucoma) or systemic disease 2. had a history of ocular surgery or underwent myopia control treatment, including but not limited to atropine therapy and defocusing spectacles in the last six months 3. with endocrine disease such as diabetes mellitus, need for glucose control or hormonal medication 4. with gastrointestinal insufficiency 5. during pregnancy or lactation 6. people with intolerance or allergy to the food provided during the study
