Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age range: 18-75 years, any gender. 2. Subjects with Crohn's disease met the diagnostic criteria in the "Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Crohn's Disease (2023 · Guangzhou)", and subjects with ulcerative colitis met the diagnostic criteria in the "Chinese Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of Ulcerative colitis (2023 · Xi 'an)". 3. Complete and preserved clinical data. 4. No mental disorders, able to independently complete questionnaires. 5. Signed informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclude other organic diseases that can cause recurrent abdominal pain, diarrhea, and abdominal discomfort (such as chronic bacterial dysentery, chronic amoebic dysentery, gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors, thyroid diseases, malabsorption syndrome, intestinal tuberculosis, colon cancer, nonspecific colitis, etc.). 2. Exclude malignant diseases of the blood system (such as multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, acute leukemia) and anemia caused by other chronic diseases (such as renal anemia, tumor-related anemia, drug-related anemia: e.g., ribavirin). 3. Exclude patients with other malignant tumors, severe heart, liver, kidney dysfunction, type 2 diabetes mellitus, active bleeding, and severe bleeding tendencies. 4. Recent history of blood transfusion. 5. Smokers (active or passive) within the last 24 hours, unable to cooperate with gas collection due to pulmonary diseases.
