Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status II-III patients, aged >=65 year, scheduled for elective surgery under general anesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The patients had a history of neurological diseases or surgery affecting cognitive function, and a history of neuropsychiatric drug and alcohol dependence. Patients with serious diseases of the heart, liver, kidney, respiratory and other systems; Severe hearing or vision impairment and inability to read or speak; Implantation of an electrical stimulation device (pacemaker/defibrillator); Previous surgery or abnormal anatomy of the anterior cervical spine; Patients with inflammation or taking anti-inflammatory drugs; Patients deemed unsuitable for participation in this clinical study by other clinicians
