Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 - 60 years old; 2. Meeting the diagnostic criteria for diabetes: people who have typical symptoms of diabetes and meet any of the following conditions can be diagnosed with diabetes: (1) Blood glucose at any time of the day >=11.1mmol/L (200mg/dl); (2) Fasting blood glucose level >=7.0mmol/L (126mg/dl); (3) In the oral glucose tolerance test, fasting blood glucose >=7.0mmol/L (126mg/dl) and/or 2-hour blood glucose level >=11.1mmol/L (200mg/dl); 3. Sign an informed consent form, voluntarily participate in this trial, and be able to cooperate in collecting saliva.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with bad habits such as alcoholism and smoking (if they have quit smoking and drinking for more than 3 months, they can be enrolled); 2. Pregnant women or lactating women; 3. Patients with oral diseases, liver and kidney dysfunction or major systemic diseases; 4. Patients who are taking drugs that affect saliva secretion (such as atropine, anisodamine, scopolamine, belladonna, ipratropium bromide, tiotropium bromide, etc.); 5. Patients or their families cannot understand the conditions and goals of this study.
