Age
18 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Ages ranging from 18 to 85 years old. 2.The primary tumor was surgically resected for radical cure, with pathological confirmation of colorectal adenocarcinoma. 3.Any two of the following medical examinations: enhanced CT of the liver, enhanced MRI, CEUS, PET-CT, or pathological confirmation of liver metastasis. 4.Maximum diameter of liver metastases = 5cm, and number of metastases = 5. 5.No extrahepatic metastases. 6.With no other local treatment history of the liver metastases before using ultrasound-guided microwave ablation or liver resection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Concurrently diagnosed with other malignant tumors. 2.Severe cardiac, pulmonary, or renal dysfunction. 3.Severe coagulation disorders ( prothrombin time > 25s, prothrombin activity < 40%, platelet count < 50×10^9/L). 4.Patient's follow-up data are incomplete.
