Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Age >= 18 years, = 2, ?SOFA score = 2 (patients with unknown pre-existing organ dysfunction have a baseline SOFA score of 0). 3) Presence of infection-related organ failure not exceeding 48 hours; organ failure defined as a sequential organ failure score (SOFA) >= 2 points for at least one organ or system in the circulatory, respiratory, renal, hepatic, coagulation, and central nervous systems (i.e., Acute change in SOFA score >= 2 points at any time point during the Screening Period).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) A history of advanced malignant tumor or end-stage organ failure. 2) A history of bone marrow transplantation or solid organ transplantation such as liver or kidney. 3) Expected survival time < 72 hours; 4) Missing peripheral blood samples on Day 1 or Day 7. 5) Missing patient's prognostic status on Day 28. 6) Pregnant or breastfeeding patients.
