Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Based on the diagnostic criteria for NSSI in the DSM-5, participants will be categorized into the following groups: individuals who have engaged in NSSI five or more times within the past year (Frequent NSSI group), individuals with a history of NSSI behavior but fewer than five occurrences in the past year (Occasional NSSI group), individuals with no history of NSSI behavior (Non-NSSI group), and a control group of healthy volunteers. 2. Patients must provide informed consent along with their legal guardians. For healthy volunteers, minors must provide consent along with their guardians, while adults provide consent themselves. 3. Participants must be aged 12 to 19 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals who do not meet the diagnostic criteria for NSSI in the DSM-5 but have a history of suicidal behavior; 2. Individuals with intellectual disabilities or a history of epilepsy; 3. Individuals with severe and unstable medical conditions; 4. Pregnancy.
