Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 60 years or older; 2. Able to walk independently for at least 10 meters without any assistance; 3. No regular physical exercise in the past 6 months, with participation in moderate to vigorous physical activity no more than twice per week; 4. Willing to participate and able to provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous experience of practicing Tai Chi for at least three months; 2. Presence of severe cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, musculoskeletal, or neurological diseases, or acute infectious diseases; 3. History of lower limb fracture or surgery within the past six months; 4. Cognitive impairment, defined as a Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score below 24; 5. Currently participating in other fall prevention interventions or drug trial studies; 6. Unable to fully participate in assessments or interventions.
