Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grades I-II, children aged 2-6 years undergoing elective endotracheal intubation under general anesthesia for non cardiothoracic and extrathoracic surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The child has a history of severe cardiovascular disease; The child has a history of neurological and psychiatric disorders; The child's BMI is >= 30; The anesthesiologist suggests delaying the surgery; The child is allergic to dexmedetomidine; The patient's family refused.
