Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Inpatients in the Department of Thoracic Surgery of the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University have been clearly diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Inclusion criteria for COPD patients: Patients with dyspnea, chronic cough or expectoration, a history of recurrent lower respiratory tract infections and/or a history of exposure to risk factors for this disease should all be considered for COPD; Pulmonary function tests are a necessary condition for the diagnosis of COPD. If the ratio of forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC) is less than 0.70, the presence of persistent airflow limitation can be determined. Inclusion criteria for individuals in the control group: Patients who undergo partial or total resection of lung tissue due to lung diseases; Those who have not had and do not currently have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; No abnormalities are found in pulmonary function tests; No history of special diseases in the past. In the stable disease stage (such as mild to severe COPD, etc.); 2.Patients in the Department of Thoracic Surgery of the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University need partial resection of lung tissue due to the following causes: Surgical lung biopsy: Patients who undergo surgical lung biopsy through video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) or thoracotomy; Partial or total lobectomy of the lung; Lung cancer, benign lung tumors, localized lung abscess, pulmonary sequestration, pulmonary contusion, pulmonary laceration, etc.; Transbronchial lung biopsy (TBLB); Lung transplantation surgery; 3.Be able to understand and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.The patient has a clear diagnosis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), but is currently in the acute exacerbation stage of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD); 2.In addition to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), patients are also complicated with other diseases characterized by high airway mucus secretion, such as bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, diffuse panbronchiolitis, pneumonia, pneumoconiosis, etc; 3.Patients with combined severe insufficiency of important organs such as the heart, liver, and kidneys. 4.Patients who are currently participating in other clinical trials or have participated in other clinical trials in the recent period; 5.Patients with mental disorders or cognitive impairments.
