Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed with irreducible anterior disk displacement by clinical symptoms and CT or MRI evaluation and unilateral (Wilkes-Bronstein staging criteria stage III); 2.Normal occlusal relationship; 3.No obvious morphological changes in the articular disks; 4.No history of treatment for TMJ or history of craniomaxillofacial surgery; 5.No history of hematologic or neurologic diseases, inflammatory or connective tissue disease, history of head and neck tumor disease.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous history of treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders, joint trauma, and surgery; 2.Active condylar resorption; 3.Missing CBCT or MRI data; 4.Displacement of the articular disc in internal or external rotation; 5.Those who suffered from rheumatism, rheumatoid disorders, and severe psychiatric and psychological disorders.
