Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet CTN diagnostic criteria from the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) and the International Classification of Headache Disorders, 3rd edition (ICHD-3) ; 2. Age >=18 years; 3. No prior trigeminal nerve-related surgical treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age <18 years; 2. Secondary trigeminal neuralgia [9]; 3. Trigeminal pain from other conditions (e.g., herpes zoster, cholesteatoma); 4. History of trigeminal nerve block or other trigeminal-targeted surgeries.
