18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-80 years old, gender is not limited. 2. Adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction of type II./III. confirmed by pathology. 3. The clinical stage is progressive (cT2 and above, any N, M0). 4. Undergo transabdominal PG or TG surgery. 5. Patients who did not receive neoadjuvant therapy before surgery (If there are patients receiving neoadjuvant therapy, subgroup analysis will be conducted in the statistical analysis.) 6. Complete clinical and follow-up data.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with other malignant tumors. 2. Patients who are found to be unresectable or have distant metastases (M1) during surgery. 3. Patients with dysfunction of vital organs (such as severe impairment of heart, liver and kidney function). 4. Patients with missing or lost follow-up information.
