Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Aged 18–70 years; 2) Having undergone cholecystectomy (laparoscopic or open) with a postoperative period of =6 months; 3) Voluntarily participating and signing the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Individuals with abnormal routine stool examination results; 2) Patients with severe constipation or inability to defecate voluntarily; 3) Pregnant or lactating women; 4) Patients with malignancies, high fever, severe infections, or severe cardiac, cerebral, hepatic, or renal disorders; 5) Individuals with organic gastrointestinal diseases or a history of gastrointestinal surgery; 6) Patients with gastrointestinal bleeding; 7) Cases of gastrointestinal outflow obstruction or mechanical ileus; 8) Patients with conditions affecting digestion/absorption (e.g., inflammatory bowel disease, liver cirrhosis); 9) Individuals with systemic metabolic disorders (e.g., thyroid dysfunction, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia); 10) Patients with a history of acute/chronic pancreatic diseases, pancreatic surgery, or pancreatic trauma; 11) Use of somatostatin, aprotinin, or drugs known to induce/exacerbate pancreatic exocrine insufficiency within the past 2 weeks; 12) Use of medications altering fat absorption (e.g., Orlistat, other weight-loss drugs, ursodeoxycholic acid) within the past 2 weeks.
