Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who underwent implant supported overdenture restoration between 2007 and 2021 and have successfully completed implant supported overdenture restoration. 2. Patients who have completed functional loading for at least 6 months. 3. Patients with edentulous mandible and Cawood and Howell III, IV, V, or VI mandibular morphology. 4. Patients who ultimately chose telescopic crowns as overdenture attachments. 5. Patients who use covered dentures supported by 2 to 6 implants and have embedded healing. 6. The medical history and medical history records are complete, the imaging examination data is complete, and the intraoral photos taken during the visit and follow-up period (jaw anatomical conditions, restoration, attachment, gingiva) are complete, Patients who are willing to cooperate in clinical observation. 7. Patients who have complete dental dentition (those with missing teeth have undergone denture restoration). 8. Patients who have worn traditional mandibular overdentures before using implant supported overdentures. 9. Patients with good compliance, at least 2-3 years of follow-up examination and case history records, and are willing to cooperate in questionnaire surveys. 10. Patients with good overall health.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Prior to the restoration of mandibular implant supported overdentures, additional bone augmentation surgery was performed. 2. Patients who completed the restoration less than 6 months ago. 3. Patients who did not ultimately use telescopic crown attachments. 4. Patients whose implant inclination angle was greater than 15°. 5. Abnormal bite force, Patients with severe tooth wear. 6. Patients with severe bone metabolism related diseases. 7. Patients with a history of severe smoking. 8. Patients with poor mental health. 9. Patients with incomplete imaging and medical records. 10. Patients unwilling to participate in the survey.
