Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Elective surgeries involving either high ligation of the hernial sac via laparoscopy or correction of concealed penis; 2.ASA physical status classification I–II; 3.Mallampati airway classification I–II; 4.age between 1 and 5 years;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with preoperative respiratory tract infections; 2.Patients with known allergies to dexmedetomidine or sevoflurane; 3.Patients who have received sedative or anesthetic drugs prior to surgery; 4.Patients with growth retardation or congenital heart defects; 5.Patients diagnosed with central nervous system diseases; 6.Patients with severe infections; 7.Patients with severe cardiac, cerebral, hepatic, renal, pulmonary, or endocrine diseases;
