Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Hypothermia upon PACU admission;The occurrence of hypothermia (core temperature < 36°C) during the period from anesthesia induction to surgical completion.;

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The time (in minutes) from discontinuation of all anesthetic agents to tracheal extubation in both patient groups.;The proportion of time with intraoperative hypothermia (core temperature <36°C) in both patient groups.;Agreement between axillary artery/ear canal temperatures and esophageal temperature in all patients;Incidence of Postoperative Shivering;Thrombin Time (TT) at pre-anesthesia and surgery completion;
