Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing elective non-cardiac surgery under general anesthesia; 2.Postprandial blood glucose =11.1 mmol/L or glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) =6.5%; 3.Age >= 65 years; 4.ASA classification I-IV; 5.Preoperative cognitive function is intact, with no language or communication impairments; 6.Educational level sufficient to complete preoperative cognitive function tests.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Emergency surgery or major surgeries such as cardiovascular surgery within the past month; 2.Preoperative Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score <23; 3.Other major neurological disorders, including central nervous system infections, head trauma, epilepsy, or multiple sclerosis; 4.Uncontrolled cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases, severe hepatic or renal dysfunction, or bleeding disorders; 5.Failure of critical organ function, or presence of psychiatric or consciousness disorders; 6.Substance abuse, misuse of psychotropic drugs, or long-term use of corticosteroids or hormone-based medications.
