Interventions

Combined group:Surgical treatment with patellofemoral medial ligament reconstruction (MPFLR) and tibial tuberosity osteotomy (TTO)
Control group:Surgical treatment with isolated patellofemoral medial ligament reconstruction (iMPFLR)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) PFI or PD patients who underwent iMPFLR or TTO+MPFLR surgery between March 2014 ~ March 2024; (2) Age 18~30 years old and the epiphysis has been completely closed; (3) 18.5kg/m^2<=BMI<=29.9kg/m^2 (refer to the United Nations World Health Organization adult standards to exclude malnourished and obese people).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Lack of preoperative or postoperative imaging data; (2) Failure to keep relevant functional score records before surgery; (3) During the treatment, it was found that there was grade 3~4 cartilage injury or 3° meniscus injury proposed by the International Cartilage Repair Association, or more severe (Beighton score> 6) multiple joint laxity; (4) Combined with other knee related surgeries that affect prognosis; (5) Loss of follow-up or refusal to accept follow-up due to irresistible reasons.
