Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with preoperative FNA-confirmed diagnosis of differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) undergoing their first surgery. 2.Preoperative ultrasound shows the maximum diameter of unilateral lobe lesion < 4 cm, or isthmus lesion < 1 cm. 3.Intraoperative frozen section examination performed on DLN and PLN. 4.Postoperative pathology confirms diagnosis of DTC.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Bilateral multifocal DTC. 2.Clinically evident cervical lymph node metastasis. 3.Distant metastasis. 4.History of head and neck radiotherapy. 5.Confirmed family history of non-adenomatous thyroid carcinoma.
