Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing gastrointestinal malignant tumor resection under general anesthesia from January 2025 to January 2026. 2. Age >= 65 years. 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification of II or III. 4. Surgical duration of 2 to 4 hours. 5. Anticipated hospital stay exceeding 7 days.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Obesity (Body Mass Index [BMI] >= 28 kg/m²); 2. Patients with preoperative core temperature higher than 38? or lower than 36?; 3. Abnormal coagulation function; 4. History of diseases that affect body temperature, such as ischemic heart disease, thyroid disease, cerebrovascular disease, Parkinson's disease, or Raynaud's syndrome; 5. Intraoperative body temperature too high (>38?) or too low (<34?), or recent infections with fever, thyroid dysfunction, or other diseases that affect body temperature; 6. Patients with dysfunction of important organs such as heart, liver, or kidney, endocrine or immune dysfunction, mental disorders, or a Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score <15 points; 7. Those who refuse to sign the informed consent.
