Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients who have signed the informed consent form and are willing to complete the study according to the protocol; 2) Older than 18 years old; 3) ASA Grade I or II; 4) Elective or time-limited lateral position surgery; 5) General anesthesia; 6) Tracheal intubation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) The pathological state of the carotid artery vessels: Preoperative carotid artery ultrasound examination ruled out abnormalities including plaques, stenosis and anatomical variations 2) Patients with a body mass index (BMI) 30kg/m^2 3) Patients with non-sinus rhythm 4) History of arrhythmia, cardiomyopathy or valvular heart disease 5) Heart failure, left ejection fraction < 50% 6) Pulmonary arterial hypertension 7) Peripheral artery disease or atherosclerosis 8) History of neck surgery or trauma 9) Preoperative changes of sudden acute illness that threaten vital signs 10) Patients with implanted cardiac pacemakers 11) The patient has secondary hypertension 12) Chronic kidney disease 13)Patients with difficulty in ultrasound measurement and persistent blood pressure exceeding 180/110 mmHg have unexpectedly difficult airways 14) The patient refused to participate in the trial
