Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing total knee replacement or unicondylar knee replacement; 2. Age < 80 years; 3. ASA classification I-III; 4. No history of long-term opioid treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Coagulation dysfunction; 2. Systemic or puncture site infection; 3. Allergy to local anesthetics; 4. Peripheral nervous system diseases or femoral nerve block (FNB) affecting nerve damage; 5. Severe heart (New York Heart Association Class III-IV), lung (forced expiratory volume in 1 second < 50% of predicted value), kidney or liver dysfunction; 6. Ongoing continuous pain relief treatment before surgery.
