Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: 18-65 years old, with unilateral lateral epicondylitis (clinical diagnosis), and lateral elbow pain lasting >= 4 weeks 2. During palpation, there is local tenderness at the lateral condyle (origin of the common extensor muscle) or its distal end, and pain reappears when the wrist or middle finger is resistant to extension (positive Kotsen's test), indicating tendon involvement 3. Moderate or more severe baseline pain intensity (for example, a digital score of =4/10 in the past week, equivalent to a visual simulation score of >=40/100) 4. Be willing to participate and provide a written informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Imaging examinations reveal any other elbow joint lesions (such as calcified tendinopathy, osteoarthritis, inflammatory lesions of the elbow joint, etc.) 2. There is a history of severe trauma, fracture, dislocation or surgery on the affected elbow 3. Lateral elbow pain caused by cervical spondylosis or other neurological disorders (such as cervical intervertebral disc protrusion or radial nerve entrapment) 4. Corticosteroids have been injected for the treatment of lateral epicondylitis within the past six months 5. Have received or received simultaneously physical therapy (such as physical therapy, acupuncture, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for the elbow) for this condition within 2 weeks 6. Any other circumstances that may affect the assessment or treatment: such as systemic inflammatory diseases (rheumatoid arthritis), systemic pain diseases (fibromyalgia), hemorrhagic diseases or anticoagulant therapy, severe mental illness or pregnancy
