Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Pathologically, the cases are diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma in patients. 2.Patients with a history of only one primary esophageal cancer at the time of diagnosis. 3.Cases with lesions located in the cervical segment of the esophagus.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Incomplete data cases; 2.Cases with non-squamous cell carcinoma on pathology; 3.Cases with concurrent esophageal cancer in other segments; 4.Cases that underwent endoscopic treatment prior to surgery; 5.Cases with severe distant metastasis; 6.metastatic/recurrent cases; 7.Cases without definitive pathological results.
