Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Ervical vascular ultrasonography indicated internal carotid artery stenosis of >=70%, or >=50% with moderate clinical symptoms of a transient ischemic attack (TIA) or minor.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Intracranial spontaneous hemorrhage within 12 months; 2. Large-scale stroke or myocardial infarction occurred within 30 days; 3. Progressive stroke within 3 months; 4. Accompanied by large intracranial aneurysms, which cannot be treated in advance or simultaneously; 5. Chronic carotid artery complete occlusion without obvious cerebral ischemia symptoms; 6. Coagulation dysfunction, contraindications to heparin and antiplatelet drugs; 7. Inability to tolerate anesthesia; 8. Severe dysfunction of vital organs such as heart, lungs, liver and kidneys; 9. Severe dementia; 10. The location of the internal carotid artery lesion is too high to effectively expose the surgical field of view.
