Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients within one month after rectal cancer stoma surgery ; 2.Clear consciousness, good communication, understanding, and expression skills; 3.Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the informed consent form. If the subject is unable to read and sign the informed consent form due to reasons such as lack of legal capacity, their guardian must act as a proxy for the informed process and sign the informed consent form. If the subject lacks the ability to read the informed consent form (such as illiterate subjects), a witness must witness the informed process and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Individuals who are unable to care for their stoma on their own due to illness or physical disabilities. 2.Suffering from infectious diseases, such as AIDS, tuberculosis, etc. 3.Vulnerable groups other than illiterate/elderly people, including those with mental illness, cognitive impairment, critically ill patients, pregnant women, etc.
