Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria for ''schizophrenia'' in the World Health Organization Category Directory of Mental and Behavioural Disorders (ICD-11); 2. No gender limit, aged between 18 and 65 years; 3. The patient himself or his family members voluntarily participated in the study and signed the informed consent; 4. Having a junior high school education or above, and being able to understand the evaluation methods, content, and process in this study after explanation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from the following diseases: epilepsy and other neurological diseases, acute and chronic renal failure, severe diabetes, heart, liver, kidney, endocrine and metabolic system, blood system and other physical diseases or diseases that may interfere with the test evaluation; 2. Drug addicts and other psychoactive substances; 3. Pregnant and lactating women; 4. Those who have received non convulsive electroconvulsive therapy or transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy in the past month; 5. Currently undergoing anti-inflammatory or immunosuppressive treatment; 6. Identify individuals who are allergic or intolerant to caffeine and may not tolerate the Chinese herbal medicines used in the experiment.
