Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Preoperative pathological diagnosis of rectal adenocarcinoma; 2. The age range was 18-75 years old; 3. The distance between the lower edge of the tumor and the anal edge is <=6cm; 4. Preoperative TNM staging of the tumor was stage ?-?; 5. Non-colorectal multiple primary cancer or combined with other systemic tumors.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. No anastomosis or abdominoperineal resection was performed; 2. Failure to close the stoma or re-ostomy; 3. Poor anal function or incontinence before surgery; 4. Postoperative or preventive stoma closure time less than 6 months; 5. Other factors refused follow-up questionnaires.
