Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: This study will include three groups of subjects (Chinese people aged >=50 years, limited to postmenopausal women and elderly men and women), and the bone mineral density values of the subjects will be measured using the DXA device. 1. Osteoporosis group: Met the WHO diagnostic criteria for osteoporosis (T value =-1.0 and no history of brittle fractures.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of known bone diseases, severe malnutrition or dietary restrictions, colon cancer, celiac disease, endocrine disorders, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), or family history of these conditions; 2. Previous diagnosis of organic intestinal diseases confirmed by colonoscopy; 3. Use of probiotics, prebiotic/synbiotic supplements, bone metabolism-affecting medications, or antibiotics within the past 2 weeks; 4. Diagnosed severe comorbidities including myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction, malignant tumors, or other conditions deemed ineligible by investigators; 5. Major psychiatric disorders affecting behavioral control or compliance; 6. Illiteracy, inability to comprehend informed consent, or incapacity to provide written informed consent.
