Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for the case group: 1. Meeting the diagnostic criteria for Acute Pancreatitis (AP) as outlined in the "Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Pancreatitis" by the Chinese Society of Gastroenterology in 2013; 2. Clinical symptoms and signs have basically or completely recovered after treatment, followed by recurrence once or multiple times; 3. The interval between each episode is at least 3 months;4.No morphological or functional changes in the pancreas during the episodes; 5.No abnormalities in glucose metabolism or blood lipids, no history of smoking or alcohol abuse, and no biliary diseases such as gallstones that could trigger pancreatitis; 6.No family history of pancreatitis; 7.No gender restriction, aged between 35-65 years. Inclusion criteria for the control group: 1. No history of pancreatitis or family history of pancreatitis; 2. No abnormalities in glucose metabolism or blood lipids, no history of smoking or alcohol abuse, and no biliary diseases such as gallstones; 3. No gender restriction, aged between 35-65 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for the case group: 1.Malignant tumors; 2.Pregnant or lactating women; 3.Infectious diseases (e.g., hepatitis, HIV antibody positive, syphilis antibody positive). Exclusion criteria for the control group: 1.Malignant tumors; 2.Pregnant or lactating women; 3.Infectious diseases (e.g., hepatitis, HIV antibody positive, syphilis antibody positive).
