Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ?1.Preoperative diagnosis? confirmed by gastroscopy and pathological examination as ?gastric cancer? or ?adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction (Siewert type II/III)?. ?2.Clinical stage? classified as ?cT2-4aN+M0? and planned for ?totally laparoscopic total gastrectomy?. 3.Patients who demonstrated ?significant clinical response? after ?neoadjuvant chemotherapy? or ?immunotherapy?. ?4.Complete and available clinicopathological data?. ?5.Written informed consent? was obtained from all patients prior to surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ?1.Age 75 years? 2?.Emergency surgery? for complications (e.g., hemorrhage, perforation, obstruction) ?3.Pathologically confirmed T4b (invading adjacent organs)? or ?M1 (distant metastasis)? intraoperatively/postoperatively ?4.Combined organ resection? or ?palliative resection? during surgery 5.History of ?preoperative radiotherapy? ?5.ASA physical status classification > Class III
