Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Acute onset of illness with a disease duration of =5 days prior to enrollment; 2.Age between 28 days and 18 years; 3.Primary diagnosis of pneumonia, defined by clinical symptoms such as fever, cough, wheezing, and tachypnea, with auscultatory findings of pulmonary rales and radiological evidence of pneumonia on chest imaging; 4.Laboratory-confirmed Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection, evidenced by a positive serum MP-IgM test (antibody titer =1:160) and/or positive MP-DNA detected in nasopharyngeal swab or sputum samples.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Co-infection with other pathogens as confirmed by etiological testing; 2.History of bronchial asthma, recurrent respiratory tract infections, congenital or acquired immunodeficiency, chronic pulmonary diseases, renal or hepatic disorders, cardiovascular diseases, or connective tissue diseases.
