Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Part I inclusion criteria: 1.Age 3-14 years at the time of surgery; 2.Postoperative follow-up time =2 years; 3.No history of orthopaedic surgery other than hemivertebra deformity; 4.No double lower limb deformity, double lower limb unequal length, etc. 5.Meet the diagnostic criteria for distal addition phenomenon; 6.Complete follow-up data were available. Part II inclusion criteria: 1.Age 3-14 years old; 2.Surgery is required after comprehensive evaluation; 3.The main surgical methods were posterior hemivertebrae resection, bone graft fusion and internal fixation; 4.Complete imaging data; 5.The parents agreed to WES and MLPA testing and signed the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The first part of the exclusion criteria: 1.The compensatory structural curvature of the distal end of the fixed vertebra had formed before surgery; 2. Combined with a history of spinal trauma; 3. Spinal tumors, infections, tuberculosis and bone metabolic diseases; 4. Patients who have previously received anterior or anterior spinal surgery; 5. Other situations that do not meet the inclusion criteria. The second part of the exclusion criteria: 1.Idiopathic, neuromuscular, syndromic and other non-congenital scoliosis; 2.Multi-system disease can not tolerate surgery; 3.Poor blood quality and serious DNA degradation affected WES and MLPA sequencing results Case; 4.Parents of patients refused to be included in the study; 5.The follow-up time was less than 1 year.
