Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for the case group: 1. Age: >=18 years old; 2. From March 2025 to March 2026, he was treated in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and diagnosed with new thyroid cancer; 3. Diagnosed with thyroid cancer by cytological diagnosis; 4. Mainly residing in Guangzhou in the past 3 years. Inclusion criteria for the control group: 1. Age: >=18 years old; 2. People who have undergone routine physical examination in the Health Center of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University; 3. Self-reported absence of known thyroid cancer (palpation, ultrasound without mentioning or other thyroid disorders; 4. Match the age (/-1 year), gender, race/ethnicity of 1:4 individuals with the patients in the case group; 5. Mainly residing in Guangzhou in the past 3 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Case group: (1) History of radiation exposure in childhood; (2) have severe heart, liver, or kidney disease; (3) pregnancy or breastfeeding; (4) self-report of having gonadal diseases (e.g., polycystic ovary syndrome); (5) Self-reported recent (within 3 months) iodine or other antithyroid drugs, contraceptives or estrogen; (6) The test results of biological samples are missing or cannot be analyzed, etc.; (7) Have other malignant tumors; 2. Control group: (1) The results of physical examination showed illness; (2) history of radiation exposure in childhood; (3) pregnancy or breastfeeding; (4) Self-reported recent (within 3 months) iodine or other antithyroid drugs, contraceptives or estrogen; (5) The test results of biological samples are missing or cannot be analyzed, etc.;
