Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The healthy control group was included: (1) there was no significant change in gingival color, no inflammation, no change in texture, and no other abnormal symptoms; (3) Plaque index (PLI) 1, (2) plaque index (PLI) >1, (3) attachment loss (AL) >=3mm; (4) Probing depth (PD) >=4mm; (5) Radiographic alveolar bone resorption; (6) Periodontitis patients aged 18 years < age < 55 years old. According to the new classification and diagnostic criteria for periodontitis proposed at the 2017 AAP and EAP World Symposiums, periodontitis was divided into patients with stage I, II, III and IV periodontitis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have received periodontal treatment in the past 12 months; (2) patients who have received medication in the past 6 months; (3) Patients with systemic diseases, psychiatric disorders, pregnancy or lactation, and other oral diseases that may affect periodontal conditions; (4) Body mass index BMI>=28.
