Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for patients with non-sepsis: 1. All patients who do not meet the diagnosis of sepsis; 2. The exclusion criteria are the same as those for patients with sepsis; 3. Sign the informed consent form. Inclusion criteria for patients with sepsis: meet the diagnostic criteria of the 3rd International Consensus on the Definition of Sepsis and Septic Shock (SEPSIS-3.0) published in 2016, namely: 1. Confirmed or suspected infection: Patients must have evidence of confirmed or suspected infection. 2. Increase in SOFA score: Sequential organ failure score (SOFA) increased by >2 points from baseline. 3. Sign the informed consent form
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age less than 18 years old. 2. Pregnant and lactating women. 3. Those who have received chemotherapy within 6 months before admission. 4. Those who are currently receiving corticosteroids or other immunosuppressants or immunomodulators within the previous 3 months. 5. People with immune system diseases. 6. HIV-positive people 7. Patients with end-stage liver function or renal failure 8. Not a first-time ICU admission
