Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who underwent modified thoracic CT with extended scanning protocol (defined as CT coverage extending to the third lumbar vertebra [L3] level during thoracic imaging) after admission; 2. Clinically confirmed diagnosis of liver cirrhosis per internationally recognized criteria; 3. Age >18 years old; 4. Availability of complete baseline clinical profiles and essential laboratory/imaging datasets.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with prior liver transplantation; 2. Confirmed or highly suspected hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) or other malignancies; 3. Chronic renal insufficiency (eGFR 4 weeks) of medications affecting muscle metabolism (e.g., systemic glucocorticoids =5 mg/day prednisone-equivalent); 7. Severe motor dysfunction (e.g., Parkinsonism) or bedridden status (>6 months); 8. Pregnancy or lactation; 9. People with mental illness.
