Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Between the ages of 18 and 80; (2) Patients definitively diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction and treated with emergency PCI; (3) Patients with a first or previous diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients who had been treated with a GLP-1 receptor agonist within 1 week before enrollment; (2) Cardiogenic shock; (3) Active liver disease or severe hepatic dysfunction; (4) Previous acute pancreatitis or pancreatic cancer; (5) Severe renal dysfunction, defined by estimated glomerular filtration rate <30 ml/min/1.73m^2; (6) Diabetic ketoacidosis; (7) Known active infection in the judgment of the Investigator; (8) Severe decrease in gastrointestinal motility, such as gastroparesis; (9) Medullary thyroid carcinoma; (10) Known allergy to semaglutide; (11) Pregnant or breastfeeding women; (12) Anticipated lifespan < 1 year; (13) Inability to comply with follow-up;
