Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Hospitalized patients with liver cirrhosis due to various etiologies (combined with clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, imaging examinations and histopathology; 2. Age 18-65 years old; 3. Patients who agree to undergo EEG examination and can cooperate with the completion of cognitive scale assessment and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe heart failure or respiratory failure; 2. Hyponatremia or renal failure; 3. Type I diabetes mellitus or type II diabetes mellitus with poor glycemic control; 4. History of cerebrovascular disease, epilepsy or previous severe head trauma; 5. Have a mental illness or are taking psychotropic drugs; 6. Previously diagnosed with neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, etc.; 7. Previous hepatojugular shunt (TIPS).
