Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Voluntarily sign the informed consent form; 2. Age >= 18; 3. Admitted to the NICU within 12 hours post-injury and received standardized treatment protocols; 4. TBI diagnosis is confirmed, and the classification follows the TCDB standards; 5. A cranial CT scan is performed within 24 hours post-injury to confirm the presence of primary and secondary damage;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. A history of neurological diseases (stroke, epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease); 2. Comorbid severe infections, immune system diseases, or malignant tumors that may affect MFGE-8 expression; 3. A history of previous cranial surgery or recent head trauma (within the past 6 months); 4. Severe multiple injuries (AIS =3) that affect TBI assessment; 5. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 6.Individuals deemed by the investigator to be unsuitable for participation in this study;
