Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Hepatic steatosis (ultrasound and/or magnetic resonance imaging) and/or histological analysis of liver biopsy on liver imaging: fat content >=5%; 2. Daily alcohol consumption less than 10g for women and less than 20g for men; 3. No lipogenic drugs (glucocorticoids, methotrexate, amiodarone, tamoxifen, etc.); 4. No other chronic liver diseases, such as viral hepatitis, autoimmune hepatitis, toxic liver injury, alcoholic steatohepatitis, cholestatic liver disease, Wilson's disease and hereditary hemochromatosis.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Oral or intravenous antibiotics within 6 months prior to the study, pregnancy; 2. Age < 18 years old; 3. Presence of acute inflammation; 4 Further Exclusion Criteria: (1) Participation in an interventional nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) study within three months prior to enrollment or currently or before; (2) Successful lifestyle change, weight loss of more than 5%.
