Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who were discharged with a diagnosis of acute exacerbation of COPD (all of the included patient had complete clinical records at the hospital); 2.Patients whose COPD diagnosis was reconfirmed based on the 2024 GOLD Report; 3.Patients whose diabetes diagnosis was reconfirmed based on the 2024 American Diabetes Association guidelines;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who were unable to cooperate due to psychiatric disorders and those with other comorbid conditions, such as pulmonary malignancies, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary embolism, pulmonary vasculitis, pneumothorax, or asthma.
