Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of schizophrenia according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5), confirmed using the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI). 2. Aged between 18 and 60 years. 3. Undergoing regular maintenance pharmacotherapy. 4. Demonstrating a stable clinical condition for at least six months. 5. Presence of persistent negative symptoms. 6. Han ethnicity. 7. Completion of at least five years of formal education. 8. Right-handedness. 9. Normal vision and hearing (with or without correction), and absence of any language communication disorders.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. A history of organic brain disease, traumatic brain injury, endocrine disorders, or abnormal laboratory findings related to blood, cardiac, hepatic, or renal function upon examination. 2. A history of intellectual disability or substance dependence, including alcohol and drug abuse. 3. Pregnant or lactating women. 4. Presence of contraindications to MRI scanning, such as the implantation of electronic or metallic devices.
