Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Elderly Participants 1. Age >=60 years; 2. Diagnosed with moderate to severe dementia (middle to late stages) by a trained assessor, based on the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) results, combined with clinical symptoms and caregiver reports; 3. Clinically stable and capable of completing the intervention protocol; 4. Residing in a community-based home setting (non-institutionalized); 5. If the participant lacks the capacity to provide informed consent due to cognitive impairment, their legal guardian must complete the informed consent process and sign the consent form on their behalf. Caregivers 1. Age >=18 years; 2. Providing =3 months of continuous 24-hour residential care; 3. Possessing basic communication skills; 4. Voluntary participation with signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Elderly Participants 1. Presence of severe complications such as chronic respiratory failure or pulmonary encephalopathy; 2. Severe behavioral disturbances or psychiatric disorders. Caregivers 1. Inability to comprehend or cooperate with the study procedures.
