Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade ?-?; (2) age of 65-90 years old; (3) patients undergoing elective laparoscopic radical resection of colorectal cancer.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) preoperative mental disorder, cognitive dysfunction or communication difficulties; (2) obvious sinus bradycardia (heart rate <50 beats/min) or other serious cardiovascular diseases; (3) symptomatic cerebrovascular disease (such as previous stroke); (4) history of liver and kidney dysfunction; (5) lidocaine allergy.
