20 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Scheduled to undergo painless Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) at our hospital; 2. Age over 20 years, gender irrelevant; 3. ASA I–III; 4. Capable of understanding study procedures and methods, willing to participate voluntarily, strictly adhere to the clinical research protocol, and provide written informed consent personally.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. ASA>III; 2. Body mass index (BMI) = 30 kg/m^2; 3. Complex congenital heart disease; 4. Severe uncontrolled heart failure; 5. Severe uncontrolled ventricular arrhythmia; 6. Sleep apnea syndrome; 7. Contraindications for transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) (e.g., esophageal diverticulum); 8. Other contraindications for anesthesia (e.g., upper respiratory tract infection).
